Agile Project Management-Training: Scrum and Kanban Training

You do not need any special prior knowledge to participate in this training course. All you need is a keen interest in the subject matter, an affinity for the digital world and experience in using digital media and devices such as smartphones, tablets and computers. Please note that certain course content (e.g. videos or commands) will be presented in English. This decision was made deliberately in order to prepare you as well as possible for working in a global environment where the English language plays an important role. Please take this into account when choosing your course and rest assured that we want to support you in finding your way in an international working environment in the future.

If you are registered in Germany and registered as a job seeker, you can apply for a Bildungsgutschein from the Agentur für Arbeit. Here you will find our step-by-step guide to the application process.

Employees can benefit from funding under the Qualifizierungschancengesetz. Up to 100% of the continuing education costs can be subsidised. You can find more information on our funding page.

If you have decided to participate in this course, then you can simply register via our website. Should you finance the course via an education voucher (Bildungsgutschein) from the employment agency (Agentur für Arbeit), then please proceed as follows:

1. Request a course proposal from us for your continuing education.

2. Present the course proposal to your case worker at the employment agency and apply for your education voucher.

3. Send us the education voucher with your address for return so that we can fill it out and send it to you. Alternatively, send us the education voucher as a PDF by mail. Tell us your desired start date.

4. Present the signed education voucher filled out by us to your case worker at the employment agency, select the start date mentioned, register via our website (payment method - BGS) and mention the BGS number when registering.

5. You will receive a confirmation of enrollment, the distance learning contract (Fernunterrichtsvertrag) and reminder emails, as well as all required access before the start of your course. 

6. Furthermore, you will receive reminder emails, as well as all required accesses before the start of your further education.

Your personal mentor will support you throughout the entire duration of the continuing education program. Your mentor is your personal contact for all content-related topics of the continuing education. You can contact your mentor at any time and arrange an unlimited number of mentoring appointments within the scheduled continuing education period (depending on full-time or part-time).

You can flexibly plan the mentoring hours using our calendar tool. You can see the available time slots of your personal mentor and choose one that suits you from the available appointments. You can also arrange regularly recurring appointments.

Included in the scope of services of your course is a free career coaching session. Within the career coaching, we offer application training, open FAQ sessions and individual job coaching with our HR specialist. Of course, your personal mentor is also available at all times to answer any questions you may have.

The trainings are made available to you on our online portal. You work on the training at your own pace, independent of time and location. All you need for practical work is Internet access and a PC. All content can also be accessed on the move via your cell phone.

You are completely flexible in terms of time management. It is up to you when, how much and where you learn. If your further education is financed by an education voucher from the employment agency, then the time frame noted on the education voucher must be observed.

Do not worry about your vacation. The XDi offers you the opportunity to take a break from your educational sessions. You won‘t miss out on anything and can pick up where you left off after your vacation, fresh and invigorated. Please note that in the case of an education voucher, you must first register your vacation with the employment agency and have it approved.

You submit the sick note to the employment agency. If you are unable to make up for this absence, we will be happy to extend your training free of charge in consultation with the employment agency. You will not lose any learning time. Nothing stands in the way of successful completion despite illness.

Content is king - practice is queen. In addition to our focus on „learning by doing“, we attach enormous importance to professional content that is „state-of-the-art“. The theoretical content is conveyed in the form of texts, graphics, images and videos including animations.
The content is specially didactically prepared and of the highest aesthetic quality. The video material is extensive and meets the highest standards of first-class, contemporary knowledge transfer. You can apply the knowledge you have learned in practice immediately after the theoretical input with the help of numerous practical tasks. You can also check your learning success at any time by taking quizzes that are precisely tailored to the content.

The teaching units consist of ≈ 1/5 theory and ≈ 4/5 practical work. Theory includes the provided texts and videos as well as the reception of external learning content and the review of learning success via quizzes. The practical work includes hands-on work on a virtual project, your own final project (capstone project), mentoring hours, and documentation of your work results.
