Take advantage of your entitlement to up to 5 days of training per year during working hours without affecting your vacation time. Your employer will continue to pay your salary while you receive targeted training and learn new skills.
Eligibility Criteria
Each federal state is free to determine its own requirements and exceptions. The decisive factor is therefore the federal state in which you work. For the most part, employees from 14 of the 16 federal states (exceptions: Bavaria and Saxony) are entitled to educational leave.
Civil servants, self-employed persons, students, and retired citizens are excluded.

Cost coverage
Your employer is legally required to continue paying your regular salary. You usually pay the course fees yourself. However, you can agree with your employer that they will cover some or all of the training costs.
