Qualifizierungschancengesetz
Invest in the future of your employees
At a time when technologies are constantly evolving, and the world of work is transforming, companies need to invest in professional development and upskilling of their employees. This ensures they are prepared for the challenges of the future and enables organizations to successfully navigate the digital transformation.
Prepare your company for the future!
In a world where technology is increasingly taking over tasks, it is crucial to continuously develop the skills of every employee. The Qualification Opportunities Act (Qualifizierungschancengesetz) offers a unique opportunity to support both employers and employees alike while minimizing costs for the company. Regardless of an employee’s educational background, any business can benefit from this funding with a Bildungsgutschein and open up new perspectives. Invest in yourself and in the future of your company by learning about your options.
Who benefits from the Qualification Opportunities Act?
The funding program is designed to support employers whose employees may be replaced by technology or are affected by structural change. It enables companies to further develop the professional skills of their workforce, helping them respond more effectively to challenges and strengthen their competitiveness.
What to consider under the Qualification Opportunities Act?
These are the requirements for having your training funded under the Qualification Opportunities Act:
The training providers and training programs must be AZAV-certified, as is the case with XDi.
The training program must have a duration of more than 120 hours.
The skills and knowledge acquired must go beyond job-specific adjustment training and be geared toward future requirements.
The completed vocational qualification must have been completed at least four years ago, or...
If a comparable training program has already been completed, it must have been completed at least four years prior to the application.
Application & scope of funding
Both employers and employees benefit from funding under the Qualification Opportunities Act, which is why both parties must submit an application for financial support.
Employees must apply to their employer as well as to the Bundesagentur für Arbeit – The Federal Employment Agency that makes the final decision on whether the requested funding is approved.
There is no legal entitlement to funding for training; however, everyone is entitled to a consultation.
The employer service of the Bundesagentur für Arbeit provides all necessary information and guidance throughout the process.
